I work at Pet Supplies "Plus" and we discontinued the Tetratec series power filters with living filter technology. So I got a 300 gph filter that retails for 50 bucks for only 13 dollars. I put that bad boy on my 16 gallon. Which required me to cut some of the plastic that supports my light off. Its pretty sweet though... Does anyone here own or have used these filters?

I have 1 gold severum cichlid, 1 green severum, 2 snakeskin gouramis, 1 gold gourami, 1 pleco, and 2 striped rafeal catfish. Its slightly overstocked but its ok.

I have used those filters. Gimmick and poorly engineered are the first words that comes to mind. It is about time they discontinued the series. The regular wispers are better... And they're not even all that good.
