ok i just bought a 36x18 stand for my 60 gallon breeder tank 36x18 length and with. any way i get home to test fit it and the tank has fun edging old tank, so the edgeing is like 1/2 inch wide and dos not sit on the stand right do you think i would be ok to use or since i am already 200 dollors in to it and all sales are final should i just go buy the 40 breeder that was with the stand for 60 bucks?

You can just go by a sheet of lumber about an inch thick at Lowes..have them cut it to the size of your tank...place sheet on stand, place tank on sheet and your done.

or you can take this as a sign from the fish gods to go buy a 300 gallon tank and stand

imo, if it is JUST the decorative edging then you will be fine as there is no weight being put onto it
