I sold my polys to another member on here who recently decided he was breaking down his large tank so got my bigger around 9 inch Ornate and 8 inch P. Polli. Picked up a delhezi from him too, smaller about 5 inch, still has the external gills. Bigger then any of my others lol now I'm up to 9 lol

Anyone ever done this before? Or w/ any other fish for that matter? The ornate I've had since he was tiny so I did not like the idea of him going to some LFS.. the polli too.. lol also needed a del to round out the upper jaws. Now just need a palmas palmas and retropinnis *cough* JA *cough* and I got all the UJs other then Senegal and Turkana Senegal..

And moke lol

Congrats on getting your polys back. I got 3 of my polys back last year. I had to pay more than what I sold for to convince the seller to sell it back.

i have never bought fish back that i have sold. although i would buy back my aro, but i dont have a large enough tank for him.

u should probably only sell fish when you have already replaced said fish with something better.

It's good to get them back if you can house them. If I could house my jardini for life I definately would buy it back.

Depends on your definition of better really, sold em because I thought I was getting a 5 inch FATF from rob, didn't want it to get eaten. Took em back because the guy was taking em to an LFS and honestly I don't like the thought of them sitting in some crappy tank not being fed. I have a thing for polys lol

well yeah, if he was just sending it back to the LFS i might think differently. but then again the reason i usually sell fish is to make room for others i am more interested in. So, taking something back without getting rid of something else first would mean overstocking. I'm pushing it as it is and should probably sell off some stock, but i cant decide what to get rid of. I am sure most of us on this forum have the same issue...

Chyeah lol I TRY to go for trades most of the time, but w/ these guys I totally am overstocked (5 bichirs all over 5 inch, 1pbass, 2 dats, 1 red wolf) in my 70 but I also bought a eheim 2217 from the dude so I upped the filtration (right now I have the eheim 2217, a marine land 600 power head w/ prefilter, and HOB AC110) ridiculously. Pretty sure I can join the over filtration crowd haha
