What are you planning on doing? You really need to improve your 60ft. 3.00 isnt the best launch!

ya i know. im still going to add a full 3" exhaust from headers. with high flow CAT converter. going to do the crankshaft and pistons. one of the things im going to do for sure, is adding a T3 turbo, problem is that i have to do it custom.

the best part of racing is the launch in my opinion, 60 ft times of 1.20-1.60, and you will be hooked for life, i pull 1.50 60ft's the way the car is setup off the foot brake through the filter and out the mufflers! its def. a rush like nothing else, it seems you got the racing bug, keep working at it and do some research as to where the best bang for your buck is when it comes to performane, just remember it will cost you sooo much more to go fast in an import than in rear wheel drive muscle car, there is nothing like pulling the wheels off the ground launching!!!

are you bracket racing? if so you can beat any car like a red headed stepchild, if your consistant. your times are all over the place:screwy: practice your reaction times and shifts alot, alot, alot. stop loights are good for this, you get 3 seconds from the time the cross traffic light till yours turns green. keep practicing even on the street. fun stuff tho either way.:headbang2

defiantly, i will practice. i will go to the strip more often. i rather spend money on entrance than risking my car, my record and the shame if i get caught street racing. lol

I really don't understand 1/8th mile tracks. To me, it's too quick. If that's what's in the area though, oh well.

It seems you really need to practice your launch.

Any wheel spin? Find the sweet spot where it won't give you too much wheel spin and a quick shot out of the hole. Once you get that down, you should be consistent, watch/feel when your powerband starts/ends, learn to shift into and out of the powerband.

I dragged legally/illegally in my CRX...fun stuff. consistent 15.6 (1/4 mile) all day long on street tires, with an aftermarket intake, shortshifter, that was it.
