i pick up my new tank on saturday, i have the fx5 to run on it, i really have no idea what to stock though. im tempted to not bother with it just because i cant decide. the tanks dimensions are 48L x 20W x 28H. im kind of spolit for choice i guess. i have a 72L x 24W x 24H goldfish tank already set-up.

im looking for something oddball i guess but everything i think off either wont use the height of the tank or will dig up substrate which i cant think of a way around. ive thought about single larger fish such as oscar or jaguar, or a mix of smaller cichlids and having rock work in there (thought algae may grow all over the rock which would tick me off) and also thought of a community tank, but i only like planted community tanks and with the depth of this tank i would struggle to get plants to live. have also considered a barb tank with tigers and rosys but not sure they would make the most of the height of the tank either.

:irked: who thought setting up a new tank would be so annoying?!

ok that is inches. my goldie tank is 6ftx2ftx2ft so 72" x 24" x 24".

this new tank is 4ft x just over 1.5 ft x just over 2ft, 48" x 20" x 28".

:) hope i can get some idea of what i want, im all impatient to get it up and running or at least get planning what i still need to buy :D
