Well i went to my pond to get some fish for a MFK that wanted some sunnies, so i went this afternoon and is was in the 60's and the water wasnt to cold, so i went down to one of the streams that left the pond and nothing, i was going to give up, but i decided to give it another try and go to the stream that feeds the pond, so i did and i got TONS of things, so far i thing i got crayfish, sunnies, catfish, and tadpoles, most of these was very unexpected:WHOA:
Here are some pics, im not 100% sure what they are and i have a crapper camera phone!:grinno:

i see bullhead, maybe a few pseeds, maybe some warmouths and some bluegills

The minnows I would guess are golden shiners. The sunfishes appear to be pumpkinseeds and/or bluegills. The catfish is a brown bullhead. The tadpoles look like bullfrog tadpoles.

I agree. The minnow definitely looks like a golden shiner to me. The sunfish are a little harder, but I think I see a warmouth, some bluegill, and probably pumpkinseeds as well. The cat is a bullhead, not a yellow though-either brown or maybe black

Oh noes... It's the Midnight (Another MFK'er) of the north. Lol.

I'm not seeing any fish that look like warmouth, what pictures are you guys looking at, perhaps I'm missing it? According to "The Inland Fishes of NY State" warmouths are an introduced species in NY with populations in Woodbury creek in Orange county and Saw Kill in Dutchess county. According to the book their populations are surviving but not spreading. This book is from 1985 so perhaps they have spread some.
