Well, I have a buddy who has a 3 section pond that he's re-doing. The section with the waterfall is where he currently is but he is hooking up the MUCH larger bottom section. Anyhow, I thought my CK would be very happy there......so, I donated it to him out of good will.....I have another CK thats about 5-6 inches in a tank with my 7 inch silver arowana so it's hard to accommodate both. I was waiting till my buddy built his 500 gallon tank but what the hey.....it's gunna be a happy fish.

i hope you feel good about yourself:thumbsup:. the water in the bottom section doesnt look very clean yet, is that why hes not in it yet? you never gave a full view of the bottom section so it looks like the top is bigger. oh yeah..... one more thing......

THAT POND IS SWEET!!!!!!!!!!

yeah.......

Actually the bottom section is VERY large......he has a LARGE house and it goes along side of the Whole back side. Probably length wise, about 100 feet easy.

By the way, he's also going to put arowana's in there too.:D

cool pond and I think your CK will like its new home.

I hope others reading this dont get the idea that you can get these monster sized fish and then pawn them off into the pond once they start getting "big"...

Actually I have a 180 gallon tank and I was waiting till my buddy to build his 500 gallon...it WAS for him but my other buddy really wanted it so I had to make a decision. I think I made the right one.

The bottom section, has Pleanty of mollies, tetra's and comets......also, there are centipedes hear and pleant of other bugs for this dude to eat....I also put two oscars in there and he is planning on putting some arowana's as well. Best part is I can ALWAYS come by and check them out.

Good Luck with it! I know that in Hawaii, the temp is pretty warm. My Mom through my CK in the pond we used to have thinking that it was better for it...by late fall, I had a hard time finding it to bring it back in for winter. It didn't survive the late fall. I found it dead when I drained the pond.
