Haven't posted here in a while been so busy from work and taking care of the fish. Wanted to thank everyone here for fueling my addiction. :) Been having fun raising breeding pairs and watching the babies grow. Started with just one tank now have 9 running and own 17. This hobby is starting to become more of a second job. Currently have the following pairs:
Red tiger motas
Doviis
Jack Dempsey
Salvini
5 star jewel elongatus

Still trying to grow out yellow head freddies, haitians, cubans, red terrors, beanies, yellow labridens, and gold patostictus.

Hard to get them to sit still they are scared to death of my phone or a camera. This is the longest shot i could get of them sitting still together.

Again terrible glare and lighting but you get a good enough view the babies are amazing.

Looking for some red istlanum if anyone knows where to get any. I'm near Peoria Illinois. Also started a marketplace thread to get rid of some of my extra fish and some of the fry. Getting sick of the bi weekly water changes on some tanks so I'm trying to get rid of most of the "extras" and just have my breeders.

It is almost like a 2nd job, I used to think it was an obsession. ;)

Heres a video of the mixed pair i have. The male was a left over from my red tiger breeding pair and he bonded with a female jaguar. Just curious what the fry might look like ive lost the past 2 batches to mishaps either of mine (gravel vac) or another fish eating all of them.

Thanks i love the red tigers. They were my first breeding pair and i think that male is one of the best ones ive seen.

I thought more people would want to take on the challenge of the fish in the last video. (really there was only one i was betting people wouldn't guess)
