Well, I stopped by a lfs today and noticed they had a 4" LMB in one of the tanks. I asked about a price and the guy told me that since one can't legally transport gamefish here in AZ, they weren't able to sell it... so he gave it to me. My wife and I have had a 125 gallon tank project for a while and have had plans to make it a native tank. We even had a small LMB in it about a month ago, but he went carpet surfing. I can't beleive we got a free replacement for it though. To cool!
 
It's about 4-5" long. Not sure which strain. I'm guessing it's just a local one. We just fed it some rosies and it was chompin down!

I actually just built a hood for the 125, so that should solve the carpet surfing issue.

As far as pictures go, right now he's being held in a 40 gallon, but when he's in the 125 I'll snap some pictures of him. It amazes me how much faster he is than the sunfish I have when it comes to catching prey.
 
wish that store wasnt so far away im out west 197th ave so ocean floor is about as far as i want to drive
