Just got a new Texas what ya think

A nice looking fish for sure. How big is he right now? Does he have a tank to himself, or are there other tank mates?

He is about 7'' ,and he is 55gal with a Flowerhorn like in my avatar.

Agreed - Based on its appearance in your photo, I don't believe that to be a pure bred Cyano or Carpinte.

Where did you get this guy? I agree with sinister and djohn. He definitely doesn't look like all tex to me either. Nice looking nontheless. Tex usually dont have those stripes, and maybe its just the pic, but he looks yellow, where blue tex or escondidos are bluish, or greenish. But like i said, he still looks nice.

Cool fish. It looks a lot like one of the kamfa flowerhorns I have though. But I like it.

Nice Fish . Had 2-females 1-male Lost them during Hurricanes. Lost A great looking Red Devil also.

may not be pure tex but still a nice pickup. my bud and i have both had some bad luck with texas cichlids. just evil
