Just got a Polyterus

Hey guys (and girls) I finally got a polypterus!! It was 24.99 and was marked as an ornate, but It doesn't look like one. It looks almost like an endli sp. I will post a pic tommorow or later tonight of it so you can help me identify it . Thanks for your time

umm I'd say 2-3". I hope that It's an endli thats the polypterus I want for my monster tank

doesn it have any patterning on it? what do it's fins look like?

It's fins are spiked like the Endlis, It has some spotting on it, and a clear white belly

You will be able to tell if it is an ornate or endli by its jaw structure. Endlicheri bichirs are part of the lower jaw species of bichir. The lower jaw will be protruding and much more prominent on the endli than an ornate (upper jaw species)
