Just yesterday I picked up a 7" rose queen for 50 bucks and was looking for a little more info. He is in a 55 gallon and is living well with a 6" JD. he has been eating frozen bloodworms and frozen beef heart. He seems to be doing very well. He is continuously digging in the sand though. Is this normal? I also have one last question about this breed.
WHat exactly is he a mix of and can anyone post a picture of one of these guys, I can't seem to find any. THanks.

Also due to his digging he keeps the water cloudy. Is there any way to keep the water clear using clarity chemicals or do I just have to live with it.

For the pic of a great one--see the fourth post below "Biggest Rose Queen". The digging deal comes with the breed.....they will flat get after it. I am not sure on the clarity deal but if you have an Eheim stick a container of Kent Organic Adsorption powder in it as a polisher.

If you use the search icon you will find lots of info here on MFK
