Just got an Ahli...?

He's a male about 4-5 inches and a VERY handsome bright blue. I have read up on them but i would like some extra tips, he is with a featherfin cat and a 7in bichir. I bought him Hikari Cichlid Gold and i have bloodworms also to feed him. ANY advice is VERY appreciated, thanks.

Bloodworms arent good for them? What about beef heart, wont they eat greens too? And I was thinking about picking up some feeders

they do like bloodworms too but i would only feed them that as a treat or to fatten them up for spawning.

Also, they like high ph levels between 7.8 and 8.2?

they do like high pH. don't do feeders or beefheart. alternate between NLS and some spirulina pellets.
