....and when I got it home and started to set it up, I realized it was European. I mean, the plug was still a standard U.S. 110volt, but the degrees were all in Centigrade. I really don't care, this thing is great - traded a cheapo "Deep Blue" for this one which a few bucks cheaper, and it came with a SUPER-heavy duty guard - the whole heater is protected , and the one I traded in was only 250W and this one is 400W! SO I figured i'd give it a test run cuz I haven't owned a heater since 2012 that I actually could say good thing about and I think i'm pretty happy with it. The other thing I really like about it is the suction cups are crazy-strong.....I tried to move it after setting it up and it felt like the damn thing was WELDED onto the tank!!! LOL
How did we end up with this model over here in the U.S.??? Does anyone else hae Aquatop heaters w/ guard and how do you like them? Have I FINALLY found a good heater I can put some faith in or is this too good to be true????
