Like it says. I was getting ready to add my new ornate to my tank. And I was doing a good old "finger test" to see if the water temps were close. I know it's really scientific. And when I stuck my fingers into the tank my 8"+ jar freaking bit me. got me scratched good enough I started to bleed a little. this was my first time I have EVER got bit by any of my fish and I used to stick my hands in my RBP tank b/c people didn't think I would and they never got me.

my jar turned real skittish once i moved him to the 125, and spooks at me slowly putting shrimp in the tank for him. he's not fun anymore :(

got bit by my needlenose gar before he died. hurt a lot more than i thought it would

:ROFL:Happened to me before too but I was hand feeding shrimp and mine was around 16". I didn't hand feed too often after that.

lol Yeah I don't ever feel like getting bit by my big silver now. That would suck ALOT more then I ever thought.

You need to feed your Jar :ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:

I was doing a water change and my jardini jumped up and bit me on the thumb in front of my wife and kid. It did draw blood and left the cutest little teeth marks. Great story for the pub but, the wife freaked out because I've had a blood disease before from an animal bite. I refused to go to the hospital and asked for a band-aid and neosporin instead. She checked that wound every twelve hours till she was sure there was no infection...

my fuhaka puffer bit me once and drew blood

Lucky it didn't take a finger.

my 25-26 inch silver jumped like 6-8 in and bit my finger, then blood can out.
it was feed time
