hey guys havent been online for a bit (still need to post photos of the tank) but i got my first critter today...A MANTIS SHRIMP!!!!! i picked the little guy (hes about 2cm long) up for a fiver and hes living in a breeding net cage on the side of my tank so i dont lose him in my LR. i was feeding him tonight and went to knock him off the side of the net cage thing so he wouldnt jump out and he whacked me on the fingertip, it felt like i had slammed my finger in a door jamb! sounded like a gun shot and still hurts 2hrs on! just thought u lot would like to hear, ill get some shots of him tomorrow and im going to buy a nano cube just for him in the next few days.
btw how would it go keeping to tiny mantis shrimp together? i feel one would be killed very quickly but im not sure.
