Just got FRT

Hello,

I just got FRT about 3" shell 4" with head. I just received him today and it seems to be shedding flaking white skin? I can rub the skin? off with my hand. Anyone with FRT had his/her turtle do this? I dont have camera to take any picture right now. Is this normal?

If it was shipped out of water the surface layer will slough off. My 4 did this. Just keep the FRT is a brackish alkaline setup and at 80F - 84F and its carapace should be fine.

well,mine shed every time its is stressed....it should be fine...dun spook it for a couple days..lol
