I've kept african brown knifes in the past, but this is my first ever black ghost knife. Generally, they are way to small if I ever do see them for sale but this one was just the right size. And was only $20. They had a MUCH larger monster BGK (easily a foot) for $60 but it had some splotches on it and might have been a little too much for my tank atm.
Keeping this guy in my hi-tech planted 75 for now, and don't worry, there is a cave for him in there and crevices under the driftwood that he will enjoy, not to mention the shade that will come about when my tank gets all the plants up and running.
I'll get pics up on here once I can get some good ones. This might be the greatest reason for my to have those moonlights on my tank ever
