I'll be moving 3600km across the country in the coming weeks, from Alberta to Ontario and of course I had to give up all my fish.

My beloved Oscars
My Convict breeding pair
My community tank
and a few others.

The guy I dealt with was very knowledgeable and said that his wife wanted to kill him for bringing home more fish. :D He told me he had 9 tanks at home the biggest of which was a 240g in his living room. We got talking about fish and he seemed just like one of you guys. I forgot to ask him if he was from MFK's. :grinno:

I'll always have a hole in my heart for my beloved fish but in a way I'm happy. Happy that my fish are going to someone who knows what their doing. Now I can rest easy knowing my fish are in good hands.

Oh and if anyone's wondering. I'd rather be dead then give up this hobby!

Rock on!!!:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2

I know what you are going through right now 2 and a half years ago I did the same thing and got rid of 5 tanks ranging from a 90 down to a 10 gallon along with all my fish before moving from Chicago to Louisville. I regret every day giving up the tanks and the equipment I had for all of them but at least I have a girlfriend who more and more everyday is more interested in the fish. I've got 3 tanks setup and a 4th sitting in storage since we don't have the room for it here. Her and the kids have made it easier for me to convince her to get larger tanks since they see a fish and think it's cute and buy it and then they watch how it's growing and needs a bigger tank soon so that gives me the OK to get more tanks.

haha, sound like a great system. :naughty:

The fish are gone but I'm keeping the tanks. A U-Haul trailer will see to that. Some of those tanks I got a great deal on... free! cant beat that. lol

I woke up this morning still half asleep and caught myself staring into my empty Oscar tank. This is going to take some getting use to. I already miss the sounds of waterfalls resonating throughout my house. The scraping of my convicts playing around in the gravel and most of all...
I MISS MY FISH!

I plan on emptying the tanks out today and giving them a thorough cleaning. Looking on the bright side, one day down and one day closer to getting more fish. :naughty:
