Just got some leo rays but....."HELP!!"

I obtain some baby leo, but they are skinny. there is a indent (concave) between the two eyes and u can also see hip bone. The seller say he had to fasten it so it can be ship safely.

Seller claim he only fast them in order to ship.

My question is.

1. When they are that skinny, what are the survival rate? Should i request a refund?

2. What can i do to get them start eatting?

3. Can you guys verify if it actually leo? if not, what kind?

I’ve heard about striving them for shipping so they will crap and pee less, but in order for the indent to occur, it had to be not eating for long time. When I got my male Leo in December, it didn’t eat anything for 4 days. I just keep trying to feed it whatever. It started eating frozen bloodworms and is now eating Massivores. Just keep trying to feed it whatever first. Just try everything.

Either a motoro cross, or some other sp. Difficult to tell but could contain Leo or hen in there.

Get some black worms or live tubifex. It is pretty much your only hope if they are that skinny and for an indent in the head we are talking weeks of not eating if not a month. Pump the temp to 86 or higher shut the lights out completely and hope they start. Cover the tank from all light to reduce stress and get rid of the pleco or any other tank mates. Add salt

Get your money back if possible. Looks like the guy unloaded his sick rays on you.

doesnt look like a pure leo to me, looks rather brown based rather than the usual blueish/grey/black that leos have when young. Although it could be your lighting or something, but i guess time will tell for sure.

Just wait for the pros to chime in with their 2 cents.

try black worms or prawns or massivore asap

Like others have said, this definitely doesn't look pure leo. The spots are wierd as they shouldn't have the black ring around them. I would return them if possible.
