Earlier this evening, I picked up 4 juvenile sharks from mikechu for my new setup, and I noticed that they tend to swim in 1 corner everytime the lights are on... Is this normal?? When I shut the lights off, they start swimming back and forth.. Are they like this everytime theres a light? Because that would suck..

Also, I was looking through some photos of ID sharks and Paroon sharks. How can I tell the difference? They look very similar. A friend of mine said that Paroons have Hi-fins and my juvenile Paroons don't really have hi-fins at all.. Is it because theyre still young? I hope Mike didn't rip me off. He seemed like a very cool guy to deal with and I just hope these aren't ID sharks. I wish I can take some decent picture but these fishes moves so FAST!!! :nilly::nilly:What should I feed them with? They seem not to like these brine shrimps. I'm thinking it's because they are still not used to the new environment. Can somebody help? As soon as I can take a decent photo then I will post them here..

Here's some pics to help tell the difference. Paroon Sharks tend to have a thicker look to them. Their dorsal fin as juvies don't have that Hi-Fin look until they get larger, but their dorsal fin has more of a "Shark" look to it than an Iridescent Shark.

wow those pics look good ben...... their catfish so they don't like lights..

Are they normally like this? Like just swim in 1 corner of the tank? Or is it because theyre just not used to the new environment yet?

They're probably stressed. What's your tank set up like?

Im sorry, but what do you mean by that? My tank is a 80 gallon with only 2 Angel fishes in there besides the Paroons. No decorations in the tank either. Ben, could you please be more specific?

Being in a new tank or they may need some decor to break the line of sight.

everytime i get spotted pictus or some type of catfish, they tend to swim in one corner or one side of the tank for the first couple days. but then they start to get used to the enviorment :)

put some pics up and i can tell you which one it is

I can't take pictures right now, I'm at work. Do they eat if they are stressed? Because they actually ate brine shrimps this morning.
