Eight years ago, when DH first started working at his current employer, we had pretty good insurance (in fact, it was one of the reasons he took the job.) We paid about $200 monthly, $15 co-pays, and a $250 deductable.

Fast forward to today:

We pay $800 a month, $35 co-pays, and have a $2500 deductable! :irked:

$800 a month and a $2500 deductable, WTH!!!!

Of course, to help with the increased cost of insurance (and life in general) DH will be getting a 10 cent raise.:screwy:

Sign of the times. Economy sucks right now. Wages are stagnent if not decreasing. Major inflation, US dollar value is falling.

Sorry to hear the insurance company is socking it to you. But I'm with ya.
