Just how fast do oscars grow?

Anyways... From the first picture to the second picture six weeks has passed haha.

if you are asking 6 weeks from egg, not a chance. oops re read, for oscars that growth is very possible. for the first 4 months, blink and they bigger.

No...My question is rhetorical. From the first picture to second picture, six weeks. It's pretty crazy growth.

tank size needs to be taken into context. in 6 weeks healthy well fed in good water oscar will more than double its size easily at that age. This is why i tell folks all the time that say, I will be getting a new big tank for my oscar in a month or 2 is not a good ideal, they grow way to fast.

yup ehh it is, but oscar grow dang fast, from 1.5 to about 5 to 6"

is it the right time passed they are suggesting no ideal, that looks closer to 90 day growth than 42.
