just picked up a 220 gallon acrylic, cost me (imo) alot of money but way less than it would of been if i got it new, also it's in new condition, couldnt be happier even tho im essential broke right now haha.

have lots of work to do to set the tank up, first is i got to empty the tank i have right now, then beef up my stand for twice the amount of water i will now have and collect pipe works and maybe even have to get a new pump for the increase in tank size.

here are pics of the tank from craigslist. love this economy, buyers market, lol.

nice looking tank. why take your current system down? just add the new one:drool:

what do you plan to stock it with? looks like a reef ready tank. did you get a sump too?

its a replacement for my current 120 that's leaking :(
so i figure i'd upgrade in the process.

gona set up before i think about stock, thinking of just growing out my polys and loaches.

im just gona stick with my current stock, bichirs, loaches, cichlids, 2 cats and 2 plecos.

beefing up my old stand with extra legs and adjusting where they go. later on im gona build some shelves between the legs.

with some help from friends for a few slices of pizza, i got the tank on the stand on top of foam on top of plywood. i kinda like how the red edged plywood looks.

finally set up the bio tower for my sump, big bio balls in the drip tray, then its smaller bio balls, then pond matrix, body scrubbers then the last is ceramic rings for the submerged portion of the tower, i have an 8 inch bubble disc that will be pumping air up thru the tower.
