Just lost my 7yr old albino channel cat 10 mins ago, what is the avg. lifespan for the albino cat? Not sure why it died, just been acting weird and not eating all of the sudden. Was struggling to stay alive all day today, not much I could really do for it.

if kept in tropical conditions it seems their lifespan is shortened. How big was he? Got any pics of him?

He was 24-26" sorry to say no pics. But he was kept in a tropical tank, temp 74-76 degrees or so. Never crossed my mind that he was a cold water fish and probably should have kept him that way, should have realized since the channel cat is native to midwest (where I live and is extremley cold)
