Well, originally an hour ago this was going to be a HELP! thread, but my BP died with in 10 minutes of me seeing her. I have been treating for gill flukes because most of the fish were glancing and, to me they were breathing harder that normal. I keep the tank (150 gal) at about 79-81, I did a water change yesterday just like every week, and have been using this medicine that was recomended: MicrobeLift Herbtana. I don't have the exact water params on me, (at work) but when I checked, I was using the Master Test kit and everything was spot on like usual. I have a Rena xp3 running and a protein skimmer. ( had an extra) I keep the tank clean and haven't had any issues before. The tank has been set up in this house for about 2 months. Before that everything was in the 75 minus the fronts and JD who were in other tanks, but all have always been healthy.
I don't really know the point of this thread, I'm just bummed. I love my fish and just lost my rescue Aro (the infamous Bendy) when he jumped thru a peice missing from my hood, the peice that had JUST cracked off
I think he got spooked from the lightning outside. Now I feel like my older parrot is going to die too. Some days she looks good with lots of color, then others she's really pale. All the other fish, (parrots, fronts, JD, BNP) all doing fine. ARG.
RIP Lil One
This pic is the first day she was let into her new home. The guy we got her from about 6 months ago didn't realize she had ich, and I saw it as i was putting the bag in. We treated her and she pulled thru like a champ
She got stuck in a rock and I had to poke her thru. The next one I got after her did the same thing lol.
