How would i go about feeding him safe live foods instead of just feeder fish or should i get him onto pellets as soon as possible he is only eating clam necks and krill right now as im trying to make his color pop more he is also about 5 inches will he colors get darker and will his orange and red get brighter as he matures ?

Try a pellet and krill. My old wild loved it. Try changing substrate to a darker color.

U could also try tying a piece of string to a piece of the frozen food and make the food have movement so the wolf fish would think its alive and then it will eat the food hope this helps

Won’t have to do that. It should take any prepared food w/o difficulty.
