Which is the more exciting one to keep? I know it's all based on personal taste but I just want to know what people think. I already have one of either and I want to either keep it as one of both or get rid of the RTC and get two or three silver aros. So. Personal opinions? :)

I'm a bigger fan of the Aro and I've never kept a RTC but wouldn't they pretty much just stay at different levels in the tank?

Maybe its me, but silver aros bore me, so i would say RTC... But seen as this is your tank, i'd say go with what you prefer...

I've found my RTC just likes to sit at the bottom of the pond until I drop in some sinking-pellets. That's the only time I get activity out of him, and all he does is vacuum up some food! The arowana, at 6 inches in the 125, eats red shrimp and tries to eat every single piece! What would people find more exciting or impressive? The RTC's sheer size would be amazing but such girth takes a while to get to.

thats a tough call, i love both fish, entertaining in their own ways. personally i like watching the aro cruise the tank and feeding time is "active", the rtc on the other hand is a massive vacuum an amazing beast to watch. i had the same problem deciding which setup i wanted, so i went with both. whats a little more water in the house!

Might end up just keeping it at one of each then. Also, has anybody ever pellet-trained a payara? I have a source for those but I don't want to be feeding it live fish.
