I have a 180 gal I got from my girls parents. I currently have a 8" oscar that I think is wild, a cichlid that is about 6" not sure what kind, its long and skinny with stripes, also two spotted plecos. But heres the question I want to put a green terror or a flowerhorn in the tank. Possible? If not what other kinds of cichlids can i put in there? It just looks empty to me?

I wouldn't do the flowerhorn, once it gets larger you would most likely lose the Oscar. Actually, you would probably end up losing all of the other fish.

BTW, do a quick search for convict cichlid and see if that may be what your other fish is. Also try out barred midas and see if that is it.

First you need to find out what the unknown cichlid is before you start adding other fish, take some pictures and post it here.....

The mystery cichlid ended up being a "Black Banded Leporinus".
Thanks for all your help.
I hope the Green Terror works out i really like them.

As long as the green terror is similarly sized i dont think you will run into any problems. Most green terrors I have kept have been pretty mild mannered.
