In the last thread I did on this fish, the consensus was that it was a Mono and not an Ocel. I guess that just reinforces the fact that Cichla can be hard to ID at a small size. I guess I don't really care what he is because I like him. The Kelberi is smaller but is the dominant fish. It chases the Mono/Ocel around all the time. They use to hang out together, but now they are on opposite sides of the tank most of the time.

I was just kinda hoping Mono because I really like Monos patterns as they mature. I like this fish either way though, so even if it ends up being an Ocel, I think he's a keeper for me.
