unfortunatly it isnt lookin really good, im fairly new to the hobby so idk if it will make it or not. when i first looked into the bag the first thing i noticed was he was laying on his side and the bag was full of junk. looked like food and other stuff that shouldnt be there. after letting his bag float i released him into the tank he hit the bottom without motion. so i waved him back and forth in the water gently to get some flow thro his gills. he caughed out a bunch of junk and started breathing a little better...

he now is trying to swim but cant seem to get off his side, and never leaves the gravel bed..

right now as i type he has himself proped up agianst some fake plants.

so what should i do, will he live?

it might be stressed and has to get used to the surroundings. i've bought a few at the LFS that acted like that for a few days before they started to become active.

Falling over from side to side when trying to swim is normal? When stressed... I have never had a fish do this before that's still alive today :s

This behaviour is quite normal for an IT. He take time to settle down. Be patience. Good luck!!!

X2. Get used to it. IT can be like that for a while. I have 1 in a group that acts like that quite alot. When it grows to 6-7 inch it will become braver and swim about
