just picked up this 240 beauty would 2 xp3s 1 fx5 and 1 cascade 1500 be enough filtration moderately stocked with large chiclids and catfish

got to get some friends together and move out of the guys garage paid for already....price 1,000 very nice guy and family had a beautiful home......when i get it home i will take pics and measurements after its up and running
Nice tank! Did you want to use some filters that were laying around or were you going to buy some new ones? If you were planning on getting new filters for it, I'd go with 2 Fluval Fx5 and 2 AC 110. If those were just filters that were laying around, then there's nothing wrong with it.
all the filters mentioned i already have i may have 2 ac110 laying around....i feel like a kid on xmas eve cant wait to set up my new toy

filtration i would rather go all canister then
2 canisters and 2 ac110
the ac gets dirty quick and require weekly maintenance ( at least mine did in my heavy chiclid tnks) canisters require less maintance and provide the same results (at least in my case)
