Just picked up 3 1" monodactylus kottelati for under $20!

They will be growing out in a 20gal with my small GSP before being transfered into my 225 (that still hasn't been converted to brackish)

saw these little tiny monos and realised instantly they were Kottelati.

Update: since they been in the tank for over an hour the tips of their fins have gone bright orange/red

This is the only brackish fish I have ever wanted that I have never laid eyes on or at least seen for sale in the 20 yrs I've been paying attention to the brackish world.

It's first on my wish list.

i'm not 100% convinced. the one that I had years back high a high doral, that was very orange, obviously taller body than the cogeneres in the same tank.
