Just picked up 3 Emperor Red Hooks

I bought all that was left.How much and how big? If I may ask. I paid $60 bucks a piece for my 4 inch ERH's a year ago. They are a great fish. Nice when a lot of folks see my tank and say they never seen them kind of silver dollars before. LOL
These were only 3"+. I stole all 3 of them for 72 bucks.
A few weeks back I bought a shoal of quarter size Wide bars and now they are together and almost as large as these 3"ers.

Dang, I guess if I snooze I loose. Congrats on the ERH's. I heard from one of the suppliers that there should be another shipment of them coming in a week or so, so hopefully I can get the rest to fill out my school.
Damn 3 for 72 bucks? I guess that was a great deal or I got ripped off. LOL Actually these guys are cool and I would probally paid more because to me they are worth it. Difficult to find. Good Luck with the batch you have.

They are shoaling along nicely with the blue hooks.
Crazy thing is, At the time I was buying the blue hooks 3-4 weeks ago the wide bars were just about a quarter big and the thin bars were 3-4".
Now they are under the same house again and the wide bars are almost as big as the thin bars. OMG these wide bars grow so fast. Its only been almost 4 weeks or something like that and my wide bars shot from 1/4" to now 3.5" OMG
