Just picked up a Armatus Payara!

I am currently resealing my 125 gallon, he is dealing with a 30g for another 24 hours.. I couldn't pass up this deal today in the marketplace. I know I will have to upgrade his home eventually, My plans are to swoop up a monster tank from a friends shop in a few months after the holidays.

The Orange adipose fin is a dead give away that it's an Armatus. The colors are vivid and don't bleed.

Better get ready with that upgrade, they grow fast and time flies.......

I know I know.. I am already having a heart attack over it.. ts been stressing me out too. I keep telling myself, its better than being shipped...

I plan on keeping him solo for now (not even furniture, besides a few fake plants at one end of the tank) until I get a bigger tank. I just picked up a Hydor 1500 gph Powerhead for one end of my tank. Its 6' x 18' footprint so he should be cool in there for a little while.. I hope.

I am going to look at a 8' x 2' acrylic tank tomorrow (I know.. I will need 8' x 4' footprint eventually). Its all scratched up but Its free, I just have to build a stand before I move it If I decide to grab it..

Hey man if the acrylic holds water and it's free you should definitely scoop it up as scratches can be removed and they're easier to remove from acrylic tanks then glass.
