Hey all. Just picked up a Geo Jupari from the lfs. He's going into my 240 with 2 tiger Oscars(6-7"), female jaguar(7"), 6 tinfoil barbs(4-7"), 2 flagtail(4" and 7"), 3 geo alphraus(spelling wrong 4-5") and geo Balzanii(4"). Running 2 fx5 for filtration and weekly water changes.
Need a little info on this fish. Is it like the geos I have except for the balzanii which does require cooler temps. All of my geos are feed with nls pellets. Seems like the Jupari is getting picked on by the Oscars and jaguar. But that's like that with all my geos. I do have hiding spots for the geos. I guess since it's his 2nd day home, he's trying to get used to the tank. I have seen the Jupari and my balzanii flare there gills at each other and also one of my other geos. My friend told me they do get a little bigger than the normal geos. But I love the finnage and pearl on him. Here some pics of the beauty. Any info would be great. Thanks
