hey all, as usual ive got to get fish food and come home with fish lol... went to my local garden centre and couldnt leave without em, they are in my 100g atm with my baby midas and jewels, baby midas need thinning out soon so may drop some to a lfs this weekend and save the biggest to honour rocky. pics shortly!-)

seems all 12-15 2'' midas are hiding since water change lol....

How big are the GTs? I hope they get along well with the midas.
 
male is about 5.5'' and female about 4.5''. the selected midas will be going it my 300 once they hit 5 inch, the rest will go. the male is proper chunky so he should be a solid centre piece for the 100g long term, along with 6 selected jewels (2 of each species) and the cory cats, l001 plec, zigzag eel and bb catfish.
 
better pics, they are settled now, both feeding well and not being bullied by the 5 stars.

cheers, it was their nice un-stunted shape that attracted me, can get alot of odd looking gt round my way... they are really growing on me, good personalitys and colourful to boot, rare combo in cichlids. thanks on the 5 stars, the red bellied ones are actually frempongii btw!-)
