Can't say I know a whole lot about snakes, I've got it in a tank with a moist hide, 88-92 degree hot spot, large water dish, several other hides and paper towel bottom.

Wondering how often I should feed this guy to ensure healthy growth and if there's anything else I should know about them.

Thanks!

thats always a good price,i think theyre cool snakes, good luck with it.I might as well say it because you know everyone else will.PICS?lol

pinkies once a week

Is there any definitive way of telling a pinkie has been thawed enough before feeding, aside from like I don't know, squeezing the belly to see if it's cold to the touch or somth'n?

Umm...just let it sit out for a while until it's...thawed.

i place them in a shot glass with hottish, lol, water for about 5 minutes, take it out and hold it for about a minute just to see if i feel any cold.Think how fast you can thaw frozen chicken breast in hot water.A pinky is just a fraction of that.Anyway thats what i do and always works.Sometimes a foot falls off,ew,oh well.Hey i thought you had snakes before.

he just wants to make sure its thaw all the way through, its not good for the snake to get an icy suprise after its swallowed it.:)
