I just picked up my new 80G tank off CL today. I want to do a predator tank since I already have a 55g running as a community tank. Any ideas for stocking? I kinda like Jag's and I was looking at barracuda's but i'm worried about the tail rot issue.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks!

(I'll have pics up soon)

Mayby
3xfreshwater barracuda
2x pictus catfish
2x rapheal catfish
5x firemouth cichlids
Does that work for you?

I forgot to add, the tank came with about 12 decent sized rocks, 2 large pieces of wood, 6-7 plants, 2 filters, heater, light, tons of food, nets, and sand for the bottom.

Along with all of this i just adopted his fish. I'm trying to ID them all but it looks to be 1 Pleco(no idea what kinda), 3 cichlid, and 5 tetras. Pretty decent deal for $250 :headbang2

I still have yet to clean up the tank and plan out the layout but im pretty pumped to say the least.

put some pics up and maybe we can id the fish

the pleco looks like a common to me, a bala shark, Tetras, and some african cichlids

I already had a common pleco, the new one is in the last picture. Its a gold-ish color with spots

1 bala shark
