Never got market shrimp for my dats b4. Picked some up tonight. Would liek to confirm a few things before I feed them.
1. I saw "fresh water shrimp" there as well. Do I need to get those since dats are freshwater fish, or does it not matter?
2.this will sound stupid but, I should buy the raw kind aposed to cook correct? I only ask because I dont know if cooked means less parasites or somthing.
3. To prepare, just thaw and rinse in tank water?

Thanks for any responses:D

Well you could really feed either fresh or salt doesnt really make a difference. I normally get the frozen shrimp which tend to be cheaper and are accepted by my fish.

I normally just thaw and throw the shrimp in without rinsing sometimes I just throw in a frozen shrimp and it floats at the top and my fish grab it and eat it without a problem, I do normally take the tail off though..

I'm confused? The shrimp I use to make frozen food are 3-4 inchers...now my dats are tiny...so what are the size of the shrimp & size of your dats?
