I just bough a 4-5" royal pleco for $30. I have algea waffers and driftwood in the tank is there anything else i need for him(the tank is covered in algea also). Any other helpful tips or tricks would be appreciated!

if he doesnt take to the zucc at first like my watermelon pleco then soak it in garlic. right now mine is only eating it if it has garlic. i put a piece of romaine lettuce in on friday and it seems to have been nibbled on. its not always easy to get them on veggies. was always easy for me before (royals are my fav) but this L330 has been difficult.
Mine keeps the back glass spotless. You've got the wood, so keep the protein out of it's diet (a little scavenged off the bottom is not bad) and try dif. veggies. My guy doesn't seem to take to algae waffers either, but he loves algae off the rocks and glass, and that is not in short supply it his tank.
