Some were I dont belong!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi there, was wondering, do they always eat live and are there other fish that can be kept with them??? any other info would be much apreciated thanks !!!

you can try feeding him pellets while as for the tankmates plecos will be nice but bear in mind australian arowanas are quite aggressive.

My pair eat sinking catfish pellets, earthworm sticks, live crayfish, chopped raw market shrimp, clams, mussels, earthworms, and a few other things. They can be kept in a community alot better than with each other. Once mine reached about 1.5 years old, they got snappy with each other and I had to separate them. But, they never tried to bother the other fish in with them.

try to feed your aro pellets and non-live when they are young, I bought my aro when it was about 6inches, the lfs only fed him live foods and till this day he refuses to eat non-live.....GL though...unless you can breed crickets or feeders, feeding live food all the time tends to get expensive, especially when they get bigger

probably wat all the other aros eat

I got mine onto arowana sticks in less than a week. I started out feeding it live crickets. After a few days, I started dropping in the aro sticks along with the crickets. By the end of the week, the aro was hitting the sticks as fast as I was dropping them into his tank.

Mine eats nearly everything. From pellets to fish to shrimp. For more variety, you can also try some mussels and shellfish. Trusted source of course. As for tankmates, I suggest some inexpensive fast swimmers. Tinfoils or something maybe?

Feed whitebait.

I find that the best.
