I'm happy as heck :)

I just picked up a beautiful Jungle Carpet Python from a reptile expo at a local community college. It was very very reasonably priced and I had to get it.

Right now he's hanging out in the upper half of my 33 gallon tank. He's currently residing with my ball python who's a little larger than he is until I can get my 29gal set up for him.

I feel like it's christmas, these are my favorite snakes.

Thoughts on the two of them spending a day or two perhaps with each other? They seem perfectly fine together, but if anyone has any thoughts as to why they shouldn't be kept together for a little bit - lemme know.

Pictures soon :)

It will probably not cause any problems if it's just for a couple of days. But new snakes should be quarantined in case they have mites or other ailments.

Yeah, I did definitely skip a few of the normal procedures I would have normally taken. I came home pretty late last night with him and decided to just stick him in the tank after a good soak (to get him a bit warmer).

I did inspect him at the show, (although I may have been a little hazy with the drool coming outta my mouth heh) and he didn't seem to have any mites or anything like that. But, I will be sure to take close care observing it.

i saw a big crapet at a snake show here, i was really impressed they are a beuatiful snake. congrats :D
