This fish came in the lfs as a pair- male had a big nuchal hump. But both were really beatup and you could tell the male was abusing the female- I pursuaded the employees there to seperate them. Then someone came in and got the male and I couldnt help myself and cleared a 29 gal tank to act as a hospital tank. The lfs has had her for about 2-3 weeks and her fins are damaged and a couple of wounds on 1 side. But I figure its a heck of an excuse for another 65+ gal size tank. She looks to be at least 10 inches so I am moving quickly on this - will have a new tank in a few days and hopefully can get it quickly cycled with some seeded media. I will try and take a few pictures and post them whenever my wife gets home and finds the cable to digital camera lol.

Oh yeah - would a diet of hikari/nls and frozen food (krill, brine shrimp etc) be good? I would only guess so. I am more inclined to stay away from live foods for a bit.
My male was almost eaten alive by his fry, he came back nicely with a little salt added and warm temps (low 80s F)
