I have just rescued a Red Dragon from a LFS here. Seems like the LFS owns too many flowerhorns for the wrong price(this LFS knows nothing about flowerhorn). I've notice that this Red Dragon is living off from the fat on his hump, so it is not balanced at all(which tells me about the lack of care/food). All the rest were having a decent head but they are exposed to an open area, where this one is tightly by the corner were not too many people even notice it(or if there is any of them that notice it). I didn't notice it too until something was catching off the corner of my eye - I look at it and its a flowerhorn all the way up in the corner. So I decided to rescue this Red Dragon at a great deal - after I get it back into shape then I will put him up for sale to go to a new home. ;)

Yeah he/she looks "sickly thin" hopefully with good food, space, and water he/she will turn into a real beauty. Good luck and keep us updated.

It's a he, and I am hoping this guy will grow its head back to its original size and thicken up. ;)

that fish would be like 60-80$ at LFS around here..... he look like he will be very red tho

I agree at that price range, but because this shop here knows nothing about flowerhorns and will price it at anything. :D

Great deal, for you and the fish !

Thanks - just on a short notice, this guy will be up on the market soon(within a week). Not waiting for his head to heal back to normal, just for this guy to be back on a healthy road then off he goes. ;)
