Would it be easier to get all fish on pellets? A high quality pellets is just as nutritious as live and frozen.

yes , partly to ensure less internal parasite problems from live feeders, its a prevention

Feed him live food (FACT) fish grow faster in size when given live food as protein and nutrients are provided to help a fish growth .Just make sure he diets as too much protein can cause trouble .

sold him off to another hobbyist ,of all the channas i still prefer this cobra species due to the streamline body and snake like head even when adulthood , now i trying to find a juvenile emperor , its does display nice pattern and colour but a abit stocky
