Thank you, the male has some really good color to so I hope the fry inherit the good coloring.
To be honest with you I am so new at the fish keeping world that I am still trying to figure out how to tell what kind I have in the tank. but I believe it is a peacock.

New photos.....she released them finally
I tried to get a close-up of the fry but not very good. I am taking these pictures on my phone but you can see them ☺

I don't think I have lost any so far :) Mama is very good with them. I lost count at 34 fry ( I think there are around 40ish) and I have not seen any dead ones so far :)
Still not sure what I am going to do with so many fishes but we will see how many make it :) be fore I start to panic. hope to get a bigger tank for them before they out grow this one :)

I tried to get them in one place so I could take a picture but that is not happening without really upsetting mom and them.. I can wait
In the last picture you can see some of them (better in the reflection )

Hi All
I have a question for any one that will help...
I have looked and looked but cannot find anywhere that tells you about how to keep the fry alive long enogh to call fishes. I have found Breeding but not riseing them.... I am afraid to feed them to much but also the right kind of foods. Right now I am feeding approximately 50 fry 1 cube of frozen (thawed in water taken from the tank) baby shrimp brine 3x a day.
Is that too much...not enough....Help
Thank you
