I was searching around the net for info on taking pictures of aquariums and found you. I have not had a chance to look around yet but I wanted to say "HI" and try to post a photo. Here goes....

It's a smaller picture but I am at work and do not have access to my software. This was taken at the Lowery Park Zoo in Tampa, FL. It's the 1st time I have ever seen a gar that wasn't an alligator gar.

I read (lurk) around the DPR forums all the time but rarely post there. Hoping I can get some real info on shooting aquaruims at home and in public. I have been keeping fish for over 20 years and taking pictures of them almost as long. My gear isn't the best but since I have switched to a digital SLR from my old film Maxxum I have been able to do so much more.

Thanks for looking!

Welcome to APF, Tim. Thank you for showing us the photos, the sea horse is really nice and the last one is a very good effort. We'll be interested to see more of your work and to learn about your techniques.

Thank you both,

I wanted to post some pictures before I saw what others have posted, and I am glad I did. There are so many great photos here. I wish I had found you sooner. I still have a lot of learning to do but it will be fun. I have always wanted to take better pictures of my fish.

Welcome to the forum! I really like the picture of your sea-horse!
