Yeah - they're all very unusual.

Does anyone have experience with the torpedo Ray? I was thinking of getting it for my 500g. Would be housed with a 22" bamboo and some larger fish. Does anyone for see major problems?

Cool animals but those suggested tank sizes are laughable. Anyone ever see a 3' across ray fitting well into common 500 gallon with room left over?
