Is that ceramic floor tiles on bottom of tank? Any specific reason for them?

People do tile so they can get some beneficial bacteria and it's easier for maintenance and mainly aesthetics but fish will adhere eggs to the tile as well.

I tried to do bare bottom but I've had more success with sand with breeding or even growing out. They have something to move around and more natural.

Im hope he turn all red later n yes thst is ceramic tile, just trying something new Still need cut it in middle
